LTP Daniel Island is excited to announce the launch of a comprehensive new pickleball program beginning April 13, following the Credit One Charleston Open. Leading the charge is Dan Levine, LTP’s newly appointed Director of Pickleball, a JOOLA Sponsored Pro and IPTPA Certified Level II professional with more than five years of experience as a director and teaching pro.
“My goal is to build a welcoming and inclusive environment through a wide range of fun and competitive programming,” said Levine. “My hope is to make LTP your home away from home.”
A Schedule for Every Level
The new programming features daily open play and weekday round robins, all organized and run by a Pro. Sessions are designed to accommodate a wide range of skill levels, from 2.5 through 4.0+, so whether you’re just picking up a paddle or you’re a seasoned competitor, there’s a place for you on the courts.
Weekly programming includes open play, DUPR and Non-DUPR round robins for men, women, and coed groups, junior clinics, and junior round robins. Evening DUPR Open Play sessions are also offered throughout the week.
Introducing DUPR Ratings
LTP will be integrating DUPR , the official rating system of the PPA Tour, to help create more competitive and enjoyable match play. Players who don’t yet have a DUPR rating are still welcome to participate in DUPR events and non-rated open play and round robins will continue to be offered for those who prefer to play without a rating. A Pro will always be on hand to help guide level-appropriate play.
SWISH Platform Coming to Round Robins, Leagues & Tournaments
LTP will also be introducing SWISH for managing round robins, leagues and tournaments. The Pro team will be available to walk members through the platform and help everyone get comfortable with the new tools.
Clinics, Private Lessons & More
In addition to structured play, Dan and the team will offer weekly “Play with a Pro” clinics, live ball sessions, drill & play formats and shot-specific clinics. Clinics can be booked individually through Play by Point and players can request to be grouped with specific individuals. Private lessons can be scheduled directly with any LTP Pro.
