The LTP community recently came together to celebrate the life of Steve Shelton, a beloved member of our pickleball family who will be deeply missed.
Known to many around LTP as “NOLA Steve,” Steve had a way of making everyone feel welcome. His kindness, his faith and his unmistakable smile greeted everyone who crossed his path.
Proud of his New Orleans roots, Steve brought plenty of personality to the pickleball courts. He loved playing his rock ’n’ roll playlist, preferably loud and sharing a good fishing story. But his favorite topic on the sidelines was always his family. He was incredibly proud of his four daughters and their families and loved sharing stories about them.
More than anything, Steve will be remembered for the way he included others and the joy he brought to our community.
We are grateful for the time, laughter and memories we shared with NOLA Steve. He will always be part of the LTP family.
