LTP Welcomes Dan Levine as Director of Pickleball

February 27, 2026 Coaches

LTP is proud to announce that Dan Levine has joined the team as Director of Pickleball.

An IPTPA Certified Level II Pro, recognized 5.0+ player, and JOOLA sponsored professional, Dan brings more than five years of leadership experience directing pickleball operations at premier clubs and resort properties from Sanibel Island, Florida to Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Over that time, he has built high-performing programs, mentored coaching teams and cultivated inclusive, competitive communities that continue to grow long after launch.

Dan joins LTP with a strong reputation across Charleston as one of the area’s most respected coaching leaders. Throughout his career, he has overseen comprehensive programming including clinics, private instruction, leagues, tournaments and large-scale member engagement initiatives. His programs have driven significant membership growth while maintaining a player-first culture centered on development, connection and fun.

A Vision for Pickleball at LTP

For Dan, joining LTP represents both a professional milestone and an exciting opportunity.

“LTP is an incredible facility,” he said. “With its established tennis presence, beautiful lighted courts, and year-round programming, I truly believe it can become the destination for pickleball in Charleston. I’m excited to help build something special here and to reconnect with so many players on this side of town.”

Dan’s vision includes robust leagues for men, women and mixed play, round robins, social events, competitive tournaments, brand partnerships and expanded junior programming.

“There will be a program for every single person,” Levine said. “Whether you’re competitive or just want to get out, exercise, and have a great time with friends, you’ll have a place here.”

A Player-First Philosophy

Dan’s coaching philosophy is simple and intentional: every player should leave the court better than they arrived.

“My biggest focus is making sure everyone walks away with something new, whether it’s a technique, strategy, or a deeper understanding of the game,” he said. “But just as important, you’re going to have a great time. You’ll laugh, meet new friends and enjoy being out there. If you’re not leaving with a smile, I’m not doing my job.”

In his first few months, members can expect to see Dan on the courts daily, building relationships and launching new programming including seasonal leagues, social round robins, and pickleball tournaments.

“Community is everything in pickleball,” Levine said. “At the end of the day, we play because we love the game and the people we share it with. I want LTP to be a place where every player can flourish.”

A Shared Vision for Growth

Director of Racquet Facilities Rob Eppelsheimer believes Dan is the right leader to elevate the program.

“Dan’s organizational skill, attention to detail and passion for the game immediately stood out,” said Eppelsheimer. “He understands both the operational side of running a successful program and the importance of creating an outstanding member experience. We’re excited about the energy and expertise he brings to LTP.”

With Dan at the helm, LTP looks forward to expanding its pickleball footprint and continuing to build a dynamic racquet sports community in Charleston.
