LTP Charleston is making it easier than ever for locals to discover the fun—and the health benefits—of racquet sports. Offering Beginner Group Classes in tennis, pickleball and padel, the club aims to welcome new players of all ages and fitness levels into the game.
Each class is designed to help beginners learn the basics in a supportive, social environment. Led by LTP’s experienced coaches, the programs focus on building foundational skills, promoting physical activity, and introducing participants to the camaraderie of the court.
“Racquet sports are not only fun, they’re also great for your health,” said Chris Cagle, Director of Adult Tennis at LTP Charleston. “They improve cardiovascular fitness, boost coordination and offer a great way to stay active while connecting with others.”
Classes are held weekly at LTP’s Daniel Island:
- Beginner Tennis Clinic – Mondays at 9–10:30 a.m. & 6:30–7:30 p.m.
- Pickleball Beginner Series – 4-week session, Mondays at 6–7:30 p.m.
- Padel for Beginners – Tuesdays at 6:30–7:30 p.m.
Open to members and non-members alike, these beginner-friendly classes are a great entry point for anyone looking to try something new or get back into an active lifestyle.
